Fine readers of mine, I'm pleased to announce that on Friday I signed to join Ed Victor Literary Agency! They represent some wonderful clients, including Nigella Lawson, U2, US Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell (of Lone Survivor), Frederick Forsyth and Eric Clapton, among others, so the series is in great hands.
Admittedly, I was initially cautious when the agency approached to discuss the possibility of working together. Last year was incredibly prosperous for the Sam Archer series and I've always been proud to call myself a self-publisher, along with thousands of other writers who have found the creative freedom and independence of self-publishing truly liberating. However, after meeting with several gracious members of the agency and corresponding further over the last few months, we've managed to come to an agreement that works for both parties and will allow us to really try and take the Sam Archer series to as wide an audience as possible. I'm very excited to see what we can achieve together!
In other news, I've been working hard on the 9th Sam Archer novel and it's looking very promising. 90,000 words are done on paper, so now it's a shape of shaping, crafting and turning it into a thriller that you all will deem worthy of joining the rest in the series.
I'll keep you all posted, so stay tuned and thank you so much for reading. Big things are coming, I promise.
